It was Robert Dumas who found inspiration for this shape in the shipyards of Normandy. There he was fascinated with the anchors of large naval vessels. Fortunately his inventiveness helped to transform these ideas into a bracelet in 1938. Combining this chain with the famous leathers of Hermes, its makes this look modern and wearable everyday for all occasions. Fun to stack or just alone wear as a statement. To this day, the Chaine d' Ancre, remains one of the most iconic symbols of the brand.
