The Miao people are an ethnic group of Southwest China. Their special folk art includes their bright costumes and silver jewelry. Part of the traditional dress worn by a young girl includes a skirt of a "hundred folds". A pewter horse ornament is prancing over the fluttering pleats of the skirt. Underneath and in the corner panels are delicate patterns typical of this region. Designed by Aline Honoré and originally issued in 2010. This shawl is new and has never been used. The hems are plump, and the care tag is attached.
